WVEC (Norfolk, VA) Explores Catch Caddy

The Catch Caddy car organizer is the car seat caddy that is designed to specifically catch and store anything before it falls between your seat and the center console.

Sandra Parker (from WVEC) decided to explore the Catch Caddy for one of her weekly “Does it Work?” segements and she asked local resident, and busy mother, Courtney Thrift, to help her with the test.

Courtney says “I’m tired of having to reach down and find my keys if I drop them or [my child’s] pacifier or her snacks or anything I drop.”  Courtney then places the Catch Caddy organizers into her car.

Find out if Courtney liked Catch Caddy in the video below:

WVEC (Hampton Roads, VA) Try the Easy Eggwich

WVEC recently tried the Easy Eggwich for one of their “Does it Really Work with Sandra Parker” segments. They connected with one local Norfolk resident, Andy Grossman, who said he already had a system for making eggs in the microwave, but was willing to give Easy Eggwich a try.

Grossman thought Easy Eggwich did a good job and he said he would recommend it. While he didn’t think it was as good as the system he already uses to make perfectly-round eggs in the microwave, he says if he didn’t already have a special bowl to use he might think about buying Easy Eggwich.

Groosman liked the Easy Eggwich handle and the steam action seemed to keep the egg from drying out in the microwave.

WVEC (Norfolk, VA) Ask if Yoshi Grill and Bake Mats Work

Yoshi Grill and Bake Mats were recently reviewed by Norfolk, VA ABC station, WVCE, for their “Does it Really Work?” series.

News reporter, Sandra Parker, asked Meteorologist and self-proclaimed “grill master” Craig Moeller to test the Yoshi Grill and Bat Mats.

And what did Moeller think of the Yoshi Grill Mats?

“Craig really liked the grilling mat. He found that he was able to cook things, like sliced mushrooms, on the grill that he never would have been able to do with out the mat. He says while it is not a necessity, having the mat around would certainly make cooking certain things a lot easier. The only difference he really noticed by using the Grill Mat as opposed to the open flame of the grill is that it took a little longer to cook. But he still got the grill marks on his food, even through the mat.”

WVEC (Norfolk, VA) Reviews Snackeez

Sandra Parker recently reviewed the Snackeez with Norfolk resident and busy mother of two Kathy Shelton for WVEC’s “Does it Work” series. Parker starts by saying the Snackeez can help you “balance your drinks and snacks” and Shelton was pleased that nothing spilled during her Snackeez test and she said the Snackeez “absolutely works!”
